The Hound: Inspired by the quirky coziness of the Parker Hotel in Palm Springs, I wanted to recreate the same inviting floor plan with ethnic, colorful prints against the neutral and classic Moroccan wool flokati diamond rug. I started scouring various home decor stores, online retailers, design blogs and even craigslist thinking I'd score some haute hippie's pillows from their Laural Canyon home. Dream on.
Found: Finally, I uncovered some gorgeous and authentic vintage Kilim Rug pillows at seriously great prices at Etsy- Sukan Handmade Design, cool online store - Timbuktoo and some extra-large very cool floor cushions at Turkish importer Oriental Rugs and Kilims. All from $29 to $75.00. Amazing.
